1943-1948 vintage Winchester Model 64 lever action rifle, serial number 1292766. 24" round barrel chambered in .30 Winchester Centerfire (.30-30 WCF) with two-thirds magazine tube, hooded ramped front sight, and standard rear. Two-piece plain walnut stock with pistol grip and beavertail forearm complete with checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with over 95% of the original factory bluing remaining and light handling marks. Bolt face appears to have been fired very little, with an extremely faint ring around firing pin pocket. Stock and forearm are excellent with small handling marks and no major signs of distress. Action works correctly and is tight. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. A high condition example. -TN-
