Edward Bohlin was known as the saddlemaker to the stars. Gene Autry and Tom Mix were some of his customers and friends. He was famous also for his silver parade saddles. This is a Bohlin-made western pleasure saddle. It has a semi-basket weave pattern on the seat jockey, skirt, and fenders. Two maker marks, one on the pommel and one on the cantle. There is a Bohlin marked silver buckle on one of the latigoes. It has a 15" seat. CONDITION: Saddle has had some use but is in very good shape. The seal has some crazing and leather checking on it.
