1907 Vintage Winchester Model 1886 rifle, serial number 142277A. Special ordered 22" lightweight tapered round barrel with full-length magazine tube. Lyman blade front sight with small ivory bead. Standard rear barrel sight. Blue with case hardened hammer and lever. Chambered in .45-70 caliber. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm with shotgun-style butt. Letters "L.R.R." stamped on the bottom of the at the tang. Black composite buttplate. Excellent with approximately 93-95% bright original blue overall. Most blue loss at the balance point of the frame. Wood is excellent showing very light wear with a nice raised grain. Bore is bright and clean. Action is tight and crisp. Overall a high condition lightweight Winchester 1886 chambered in desirable .45-70 caliber. MKS
