Rare Winchester Model 64 "Standard" rifle chambered in rare .25-35 WCF made in the 1943 -1948 period. Madis indicates roughly 1902 rifles in this caliber were sold from 1933 to discontinuation in 1941. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp front sight and 22G rear adjustable sight with sharp Winchester proofs. Blued receiver with plain trigger. Plain walnut pistol grip stock with shotgun style steel checkered "Widow's Peak" buttplate. Walnut plain beavertail forearm. CONDITION: 85%+ original blue with corners starting to turn a silvery patina and some light handling marks and dings. Screws have some turn marks. Wood has been cleaned with some handling marks and dings with a possible coat of wax added. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
