Heavyweight 34” blued octagon barrel chambered for the classic .45-70 cartridge. Globe front sight, semi-buckhorn ladder rear sight, and a long range tang sight. Walnut 2-piece stock with pewter forend tip, in addition to a case hardened patch box and buttplate. Case hardened receiver with gold “MBE” monogram in oval and double set triggers. Rifle is accompanied by an original box, manuals, and factory inspection tag. CONDITION: Very good. Metal components retain nearly all of their original factory-applied finishes with some very light silvering at high edges. Stocks good with a few abrasions on the left side of butt and scattered handling marks. Excellent mirror bore with crisp rifling. BAS
