Archival framed and matted typed letter by President Theodore Roosevelt. Letter measures 7" x 8 3/4". Framed with images of Roosevelt and Bat Masterson. Overall 25" x 17 1/2". Dated September 2nd, 1907 on White House letterhead from Oyster Bay, N.Y. Letter is addressed to Alfred Henry Lewis , New York. Included is the original mailing envelope . Lewis was a journalist, writer and editor. President Roosevelt offers to write to Bat Masterson "to steer your brother down" addressing a situation in Colorado. CONDITION: Excellent. Accompanied by a description letter from the Raab Collection, Ardmore, PA. CG
