High condition WWII Imperial Japanese Army combat boots. The upper portion of the boots are constructed of leather and are attached to a leather sole. The soles of both boots retain their original stamped maker's mark. Each boot is fitted with 5 pairs of alloy lace eyelets, and the number 100 has been punched into the inner, upper sides of each boot. The boots are complete with their original laces. CONDITION: These boots are in exceptional condition for their age. The boots appear to be unissued and exhibit some slight scuffs and scratches which are probably from storage. If these boots were issued they were probably only lightly worn a handful of times. The stamped maker's mark remains crisp and the metal hobnails are in very good condition despite some tarnishing from age. The laces exhibit some staining and all of the stitching is tight and serviceable. This would be a hard pair to upgrade. Overall excellent. JLD
