Lot consists of (A) World War II Imperial Japanese Navy 1 piece unlined flight suit with field examination tag. The green examination tag is contained in one of the pockets and reads "758 LUDWIG, FRANK CMoMM" (Chief Motor Machinist Mate) / "1-PR COVERALLS WITH THREE PIN ON BADGES". The tag is also stamped with the Joint Intelligence field examination stamp. It appears that this flight suit was examined by US forces after it was captured and was identified as a pair of coveralls. CONDITION: The flight suit retains its original waist belt and all of its original buttons. The interior contains the specification tag which has not been washed out and is remains legible. There are no rips or tears and the flight suit is very clean overall. There are some loose threads but the stitching remains tight. This is a fine example of a World War II Japanese flight suit in overall excellent condition. (B) World War II Japanese Mitsubishi marked small parachute. The parachute is small and measures about a yard long. This is possibly a cargo parachute. CONDITION: The Mitsubishi stamp remains legible and there are no rips or tears. Some slight stains. Overall very good. JLD
