Luftwaffe aircrew 2nd model take down gravity knife with an unmarked blade, other than the serial number of "568", with light freckling on approximately 40% of the blade. The knife's head retains 90-95% of its blued finish with freckling. The halves of the inner liner retain 70-75% of their blued finish, with freckling. The blade, head, and inner liner have the serial number of "568", but the blade release has a "792", which indicates it was likely replaced at some point. Blade release catch functions as it should. The undamaged spring is original to the knife, and has not be either repaired or replaced. Wooden grips are correctly pinned with very light damage, and a quarter inch dent. Steel lanyard ring is intact with patina, and the spike retains 85-90% of its blued finish with patina. Spike is marked "R.B.Nr. 0/0561/0019" and a "S" on opposite sides.
