Lot contains: (A) Third Reich police bayonet with a "ALCOSO" double-marked nickel-plated steel blade which has been cut down from an Imperial German police bayonet. Blade has very light scattered marks with blemishes, and edge of blade is Imperial marked with a date of "14". Nickel-plated brass fittings are excellent, with the police unit marking of "S.Kg.636." present. Stag grips are undamaged with a bronze wash on the aluminum Polizei emblem. Black leather scabbard has moderate wear and nicks, and the nickel-plated fittings retain 90-95% of their finish with scattered marks. There is a "14" on the throat and the matching unit marking of "S.Kg.636." on the upper fitting. Black leather scabbard with steel rivets and dated "1940" is attached with light to moderate wear. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Third Reich Red Cross Hewer dagger with a "GES. GESCHUTZT" marked steel blade with excellent cross graining, and light runner and scattered marks. Nickel-plated fittings are dull with light wear. Black grips also exhibit light wear. Steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of its black painted finish, and nickel-plated fittings are excellent with blemishes. Correct black leather scabbard with aluminum rivets has light wear. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus. (C) Heer dress bayonet with a etched nickel-plated blade exhibiting light scattered marks and blemishes, with the standard remembrance motto of "Zur Erinnerung an Meine Dienstzeit" present. Nickel-plated fittings are dull with moderate wear and blemishes. Black plastic grips were postwar enhanced with a one inch skull mounted and glued into the grip. Steel scabbard retains 80-85% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and freckling. CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
