The steel blade of this 2nd Model RLB Dagger exhibits visible cross-graining along the length of the blade, as well as the maker mark for the firm of "Kronek". The blade has minor freckling throughout accompanied by light runner marks. The RLB patterned cross guard and pommel are made of aluminum with mild patina in the recesses and scattered light marks throughout. The grip is correctly wrapped with two thin blue leather halves and is adorned with the 2nd pattern RLB emblem. The grips leather has a few light marks and the grip emblem is with enamel damage. The scabbard is made of a steel body with nickle plated steel fittings. The body of the scabbard is wrapped with a thin blue leather that has extensive damage down one side. The scabbards fittings are heavily rusted with only remnants of the original nickle plating remaining. The reverse side of the scabbards throat fittings is decorated with the initials "P. F.". Of note is that the dagger and scabbard are a mismatched set. CONDITION: Overall GOOD to VERY GOOD. D.W.
