The blade of this TENO Subordinate Hewer is made of nickel plated steel, maker marked for the firm of Eickhorn, and features the TENO emblem over "ges gesch". The blade has light freckling throughout and at some point has been cleaned to remove old rust. A TENO pattern eagle and cog wheel decorate the nickle plated hand guard and pommel area. The grip plates are made of a white celluloid and are fastened to the blades tang with two flat-head screws. The grip plates have developed a light yellowing and minor crazing. The scabbard is constructed of a steel body with nickel plated scabbard throat and drag. The scabbard throat is stamped with the numbers "7590". It should be noted that the daggers blade does not have any corresponding numbers on it to match the scabbard. The scabbard body is painted black with a small area of discoloration near the drag fitting. CONDITION: VG+ D.W.
