Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe dagger with a "W.K.C., Solingen" marked steel blade, with visible cross-graining and very light runner and scattered marks. Aluminum fittings have the usual patina and light wear, and orange trylon grips with coiled wire also exhibiting light wear. Portepee knot is original to the dagger and exhibits medium to heavy wear. Steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of it dark burnishing with no visible damage. Correct deluxe hangar is attached with light wear and freckling to the steel eyelets. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus. (B) Heer dagger with a "Eickhorn" marked steel blade with visible cross-graining with light runner and scattered marks, and freckling. Typical Eickhorn fittings retain 95+ of their burnished nickel finish, and appear undamaged. Yellow trylon grip is excellent with a couple of tiny chips. Portepee knot is original to the dagger, and exhibits light to moderate wear. Steel scabbard has patinaed high silver finish with light wear and blemishes. Scabbard counter weight is loose. Deluxe hangar is attached with light to moderate wear. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus. WZ
