Lot contains: (A) Third Reich dress bayonet with a "GUSTAV SPRITZER" marked slightly sharpened steel blade with moderate scattered marks, and light freckling. Nickel plated zinc fittings have a bubbling appearance throughout, and black plastic grips appear undamaged. "DAF" emblem is attached to the grip, is loose, and appears to have been added postwar. Black steel retains approximately 85% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks. Brown leather frog is attached with moderate wear, and the retaining strap and rivet are missing. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) Hitler Youth bayonet with a "RZM, M7/40/37" marked blade, with the HJ motto of "Blut und Ehre" present. Unsharpened blade exhibits cross graining, with scattered marks and freckling. Nickel plated zinc fittings retain 90+% of their finish, black plastic grips exhibit light wear, and the mounted HJ emblem is very good. Black painted steel scabbard is a postwar reproduction. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. (C) "DJ" dagger with an unmarked steel blade exhibiting light scattered marks and freckling. Zinc fittings retain 90+% of their nickel plating, and black plastic grips appear undamaged. Steel scabbard retains approximately 90% of its black painted finish, with freckling.
