Lot contains: (A) German WWII dress bayonet with a "PET.DET.KREBS" marked nickel-plated blade, with light to moderate runner and scattered marks, and tiny spots of freckling. Nickel-plated fittings retain 95% of its finish with scattered marks throughout, and a half inch area of finish worn from the cross guard. Checkered grip plates appear undamaged. Steel scabbard retains 95+% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks. Black leather frog has light wear, and unit knot is attached with a loose cord. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Italian WWII M35 fighting knife with an unmarked steel blade, with scattered marks and light freckling, as well as having been resharpened. Steel cross guard has patina and freckling. Wood grips panels are dark with light damage. Steel scabbard retains 50-55% of its repainted black finish over what appears to be its original blued finish, with heavy scattered marks. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. (C) German WWII Puma fighting knife with a "GUSSTAHL, PUMA" marked steel blade, which has been polished to remove the freckling, shortened by one inch, and reshaped. Cross guard and tang exhibit light freckling and patina throughout. Trademark Puma brown Bakelite grip panels have light scattered marks throughout. Steel scabbard with spring clip retains less than 35% of its black painted finish with freckling over the remainder. CONDITION: Overall fair to good. WZ
