The steel blade of this M33 SS Dagger is maker marked for the firm of Böker, Solingen. The blade retains most of its original factory cross-graining along the blades length. The obverse of the blade features the SS motto "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue", with most of its original factory darkening. Light runner marks and some freckling can be observed along the blades length. The upper and lower nickel silver cross-guards have developed an even nicotine patina appearance over the decades. The black ebony grip has a large crack down its length running to the inlaid nickel-silver grip eagle, and can also be observed on the grips reverse. A large chip can also be observed above the inlaid enamel SS roundel. The black anodized scabbard retains most of its factory anodizing and protective lacquering. The scabbards fittings are also made of nice silver and exhibit the same nicotine patina like that of the daggers cross-guards. An original SS marked vertical dagger hanger is attached to the scabbard. The hanger is in good working condition with no visible damage to mention. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. D.W.
