Lot contains: (A) Third Reich etched dress bayonet with an excellent "W.K.C." marked nickel plated blade, with light runner/ scattered marks. Etched inscription has a floral pattern with a Wehrmacht eagle and the standard "Fur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" (In memory of my duty time). Nickel-plated zinc fittings retain 90-95% of their lightly bubbled finish, with undamaged black grips. Scabbard retains 90-95% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks, and an inch long dent as well as a quarter inch ding. Heat damaged black leather frog is attached with a near mint unit knot. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Heer dagger with a "F.W. HOLLER" marked blade which has been heavily cleaned and polished to partially remove heavy pitting. White trylon grip appears to be undamaged, and nickel plated zinc fittings retain approximately 90% of their tarnished silver finish. Tarnished silver finished steel scabbard has patina and finish blemishes throughout. CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
