Lot contains: (A) Third Reich etched dress bayonet with an excellent "ANTON WINGEN" marked nickel plated blade with light runner/ scattered marks. Etched inscription has a floral pattern with a Wehrmacht eagle and the standard "Fur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" (In memory of my duty time). Nickel-plated zinc fittings retain 90-95% of their finish, with undamaged black grips. Scabbard retains 90-95% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and a quarter inch ding. Heat damaged black leather frog is attached with a near mint unit knot. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus. (B) Heer dagger with a "ALCOSO, SOLINGEN" marked blade with moderate freckling, runner, and scattered marks. Orange trylon grip has a half inch piece missing on the reverse side. Nickel plated zinc fittings retain approximately 90% of their tarnished silver finish. Tarnished silver finished steel scabbard has patina and finish blemishes with two light half inch dents.
