Imperial German Hirschfanger with a double-etched nickel-plated blade marked "W.K.C.", with scattered marks and a one inch area of deep freckling near the tip. Etching presents the standard hunter with hunting scenes. Brass fittings have moderate to heavy patina. Stag grips appear undamaged, and the three acorns with oak leaves are present and slightly loose. Black leather scabbard have a moderate level level of dings and scrapes. Scabbard fittings retain almost none of their gilt finish, with scattered marks and several light inch long dings. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. WZ
