Matching numbers 952 observed on rammer, wedge, barrel, rear of cylinder; frame is numbered 953 under grips. Brass bead front sight, notch rear sight on hammer. Fluted cylinder. Round barrel marked "BACON MFFG CO. NORWICH CONN". Simple acanthus and geometric border engraving. Two piece walnut grips affixed by single screw through escutcheon. Mainspring screw is replaced, sticking out of front strap. CONDITION: Very good as cleaned and essentially dove grey with patina spotting throughout with no finish remaining. Cylinder will not advance most of the way to the next nipple when hammer is cocked, bore is good with visible rifling and frosting throughout. EW
