Manufactured 1911. Chambered in .45 Colt with 5 - 1/2" barrel with Colt patent information and rollmark on top, Caliber designation on side. "R.A.C" Carr inspection stamp on right side frame, "F.B" on top strap. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on bottom of barrel, with Carr inspection. Slightly swept back front sight, notch rear sight. Polished hammer, fire blued trigger. Smooth walnut grips. Swivel lanyard loop. CONDITION: Good, retaining much of the Colt high polish blue with handling and operational marks throughout. Frame and top strop has a few areas of old patina. Barrel with some speckling and silvering towards muzzle consistent with holster wear. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is good with strong rifling but frosted throughout. EW
