A beautiful Handel reverse painted lamp. The shade features a Greek scene with columns, trees, and mountains in the distance, all under a deep blue sky. The shade measures 18” in diameter and is in excellent condition, free of any cracks, breaks, repairs, or chips. There are two to three miniscule flea bites to the inside edge of the lower rim. The shade is signed “Handel W.R.”. The shade sits on a three-socket Handel base finished in a rich brown patina. The base is in excellent condition with no cracks or appreciable loss to the finish. There are two very small chips on the foot of the base that cannot be seen unless you turn the base upside down.
