Fox Sterlingworth Grade shotgun made by Savage Arms Company, Utica, New York in 1933. Gun comes with extra factory matching numbered sets of barrels with individual matching numbered forearms. The first set of 28" barrels are blued "Sterlingworth Compressed Steel" with extractors, matted rib, and bead front sight and checkered splinter type forearm and Savage Utica, New York address. The second set of blued "Proof Tested" 26" barrels appear to be of a later period having matching serial number, extractors, matted rib, with bead front sight and Savage Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts address with late style semi-beavertail type forearm. Case hardened boxlock action marked "FOX STERLINGWORTH" on each side with line engraving, double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with black plastic buttplate and grip cap. Matching checkered forearms of previously mentioned styles. CONDITION: 90% original blue with light handling marks. 20% case colors with most in the protected areas. 40% original varnish with handling marks and dings and light scratches. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
