Winchester Model 1910 semi automatic rifle with extra magazine. Made 1912. Standard patent dates on the barrel. "NICKEL STEEL BARREL/ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER" marked on the left side of the barrel. Matching serials on the frame and trigger guard. Winchester proofs on the frame and barrel. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Original blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stocks with factory checkered hard rubber butt plate. Includes 2 original 4 round magazines, each marked marked ".401 CAL." on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 65% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Forearm is solid, no visible cracks. Butt plate is cracked and has a chip missing from the right side. Bore has some minor pits approximately 6" in from the muzzle. Sharp rifling retained. Magazines are very good with light wear. Mechanically fine. JWA
