Lot consists of (A) Winchester Model 75 bolt action rifle. Made 1946. Winchester proofs on the barrel and receiver. "SPORTING" marked trigger guard. Round steel barrel with hooded blade front sight and no rear sight. Factory blued finish. Walnut stock with checkering on the wrist and forearm, in addition to a capped pistol grip. Serrated metal buttplate. 10 round factory Winchester magazine is included. Also includes attached generic leather sling and attached Weaver Model 330 scope with a "T1" marked side mount. Crosshair reticle in the scope. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with some wear and a few splotches of surface rust on the barrel. Wood has a few minor handling marks and scratches. There is some minor surface rust in the bore, with good overall rifling. Magazine has light wear. Scope is excellent with a clear optic. Sling has light wear. (B) Winchester Model 06 slide action rifle. Made 1906. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and V-notch rear. Original finish worn to a heavy gray patina in most areas. Wood stocks with a ribbed forearm. Buttstock has carvings on both sides, in addition to carving on the wrist. Left side has a rabbit carving scene, while the right has a moose carving scene. Factory hard rubber serrated butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its original finish with a heavy gray patina forming in most areas. Wood has handling marks, dents and scratches. Bore is fair with frosting and pitting. Fair rifling as well. Mechanically fine. JWA
