Mauser M30 Variant C-96 semi-automatic pistol. Made early 1930s. Top of the chamber marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORFA/N". "(Crown) / U" proof on the left side of the chamber. Barrel is marked "9mm PARABELLUM" in script. No visible import mark. Mismatched components with some parts not being numbered. Stepped barrel with blade front sight and rear tangent adjustable to 1000 meters. Metal components were reblued at some point and now are forming a molten patina. Aftermarket 22-line wood grips. Lanyard stud and ring are present. Backstrap slotted for a shoulder stock. Includes aftermarket leather shoulder holster and six 10 round stripper clips. 1 charging clip is original while the others are period reproductions. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its reapplied finish with most areas forming a molten patina. Grips have some light wear. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Holster is excellent, as are the clips. JWA
