Manufactured in 1952 by Star for the West German Landespolizei Niedersachsen, with the front grip strap factory stamped "LPN". Barrel marked "Cal. 08" referring to the year Germany accepted the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. Half moon front and square notch rear sights. Reapplied blued finish slide and frame, with standard checkered wood grip panels. Complete with correct police marked hard shell leather holster and 2 total matching magazines. CONDITION: Very good. Retaining the vast majority of its finishes with some light silvering at high edges and a scattered pits under the finish. Grips excellent. All visible numbers matching. Bore good with some frosting. Fine mechanics. Holster very good with some expected wear. BAS
