Manufactured 1940 as per serial number. Smooth blade adjustable front sight, square drift adjustable rear sight. Appropriate Colt Woodsman rollmarks, checkered walnut grips, and full blue magazine marked "COLT WOODSMAN / CAL. 22 L.R." on baseplate. Trigger guard with VP proof and subinspector proofs. CONDITION: Very good, retaining virtually all of the Colt bluing with silvering at high edges and some scattered marks from handling and operation. Some old spotting is visible, primarily at straps and across top of slide and barrel. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with some frosting. EW
