Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army revolver. First generation gun made 1906. Top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.". Left side of the barrel is marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 W.C.F.". Standard patent dates on the left side of the frame. Matching serials on the frame, trigger guard, and butt. Blade front sight with a v-notch rear. Original finish on the metal components. Checkered, factory hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 55% of its original finish with some wear and gray patina forming on the barrel and frame. Grips are very good with light wear. Bore is very clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder with no push off. Timing and lock up look to be crisp. Mechanically fine. JWA
