Smith & Wesson 4th Model Safety Hammerless double action revolver. Made c. 1905. Standard patent date on the barrel. "38 S&W CTG" marked on the left side of the barrel. Matching serials on the cylinder, butt, top lug, and barrel latch. 5" round barrel with top rib. Half moon blade front sight and U-notch rear. Factory nickel finish, with a blued trigger guard. "S&W" hard rubber monogram grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with edge wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent with light wear. Bore has a few minor pits, with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Light drag lines on the cylinder. JWA
