Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1892. Blued octagon steel rifled barrel marked with a "1" indicating barrel weight. Bead blade front sight with rear buckhorn type adjustable sight. Barrel address reads "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A." with caliber marking "25 WCF". Case hardened Low Wall style action with plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with crescent steel buttplate. Walnut plain splinter forend with ebony inlay. CONDITION: 90% fading original barrel blue with wear on the corners. 30% fading case colors with some light surface freckling. 70% varnish with handling marks and dings. Good bore and mechanics. A nice clean original Low Wall. DLM
