Winchester Model 70 "Standard Weight" bolt action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1956. Comes with original 2 piece paste board box with red lettering and yellow end label stating correct configuration and serial number. Gun has blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp front sight and Lyman series 6 fold down rear sight. Frosted blued action with matching hollow handled bolt with 3 position safety with Weaver bases installed in correct factory drilled holes. Walnut checkered 1 piece Monte Carlo stock with steel Widow's Peak checkered buttplate. Comes with factory sling swivels. Box contains packing material, leather sling and post-64 Model 70 manuals. Box does have a correct tag and payment plan tag. CONDITION: Gun has been used with blue wear on carry areas. Gun has various nicks and dings from usage. Good bore with good mechanics. Box is in good condition with some tape marks and areas of missing cardboard, but for the most part is good with visible lettering and good label. DLM
