Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 1906 slide action rifle. Made 1911. Chambered in .22 S/L/LR. Matching serial numbers on the frame and lower tang. Winchester proofs on the frame and barrel. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and V-notch rear with the patent date on it. Period reblued metal components. Magazine plunger was reblued as well. Refinished oil stained wood stock with a serrated forearm. Factory checkered hard rubber butt plate with company logo. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its reapplied finish with wear and some very mild freckling on the barrel and frame. Wood has dents, scratches and handling marks. No visible cracks on the forearm. Lightly frosted bore with a few minor pits near the muzzle. Good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Winchester Model 1902 bolt action single shot rifle. Made circa 1910s. Chambered in .22 S L. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and V-notch fixed rear. Original finish on the metal components, worn to an overall gray patina. Lightly oil finished wood stock with factory hard rubber checkered butt plate. CONDITON: Metal retains little of its original finish with patina forming, in addition to some scratches. Wood has a few handling marks and scratches. Lightly frosted bore with a few minor pits. Very good overall rifling. JWA
