Walther (DSM34 style) bolt action training rifle. Grooved receiver model with Walther banner on the barrel followed by "Sportmodell" in gothic script. Waffenfabrik Walther/Zella-mehlis Thuringen" marked on the receiver in gothic script. No markings on the stock. Butt plate has "25/19" followed by "3" marked on the butt plate. German proofs on the receiver and barrel. No import marks. Bolt and stock are not numbered. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and rear sight adjustable to 200 meters. Original finish on the metal. Full length stock being cut back a touch (most likely a duffle cut) with smooth metal butt plate. Front band is missing. Front sling swivel is missing. No cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with wear and some patina forming. Wood has handling marks, dents and scratches. Very nice bore with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
