Colt Officer's Model Target double action revolver. Made 1950. Left side of the barrel is marked "OFFICERS MODEL TARGET/.38 SPECIAL CTG". Top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.". Colt proofs on the left side of the trigger guard. Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Round steel barrel with adjustable front blade sight and adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Aftermarket stone style grips carved into the shape of a bull on the right panel, and an eagle on the left panel. In addition, there is a Masonic symbol on the left panel and Shriners symbol on the right panel. CONDITON: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few scratchers and handling marks. There is a small rust spot on the edge of the cylinder guard. Grips have some discoloration and wear. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. JWA
