German Mauser byf 43 Code P.38 semi automatic pistol. Made 1943 at the Mauser factory. "(Eagle)/135" Waffenamts on the frame, slide and barrel. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame, barrel, barrel block, and slide. Blade front sight and U-notch rear sight. Original blued finish on the metal components. Black plastic serrated grips. Refinished magazine electropencilled "6445" on the spine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips have light wear and scratches. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Decocker works as it should. Magazine has light wear. JWA
