Lot consists of: (A) Composite Harpers Ferry Model 1803 flintlock rifle. CONDITION: Lock is contemporary. Barrel has been heavily polished and browned. Stock refinished and showing some repairs around sideplate. Stock inspector marks are very good. (B) Harpers Ferry Model 1803 Rifle dated 1817 and converted to percussion. Stock stamped on left side, behind sideplate with "V/AT" inspectors mark. CONDITION: Barrel retains a heavy brown patina, markings very good and bore shows heavy wear and patina. Lock retains a grey patina and shows scattered heavy pitting, markings very good. Brass retains a mellow dark mustard patina. Stock has good inspector stamp. DMG
