Classic Combat Commander with 4 - 1/4" barrel, GI sights with three dot combat configuration, Commander hammer, serrated small parts, and smooth flat mainspring housing. Pistol has been masterfully embellished with hand cut scroll engraving in nearly complete coverage with vacancies towards muzzle by noted Master Engraver Mark Swanson, and signed and dated by him (2014), under right grip. Slide was then blued and frame was case colored, with small parts nitre blued. Fossilized stag grips. Blued magazine. CONDITION: Excellent, possibly unfired since decoration with a few extremely minor losses from storage; even straps retain virtually all of their case coloring with a few extremely minor marks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling and a couple spots of abrasion on lands. Front sight dot insert is missing but could be replaced. Swanson is a recognized Master Engraver by FEGA and this pistol is a work of art. EW
