Smith and Wesson Number 3 Third Model "Russian" single action revolver, serial number 50031. 6 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44 S&W Russian. Period engraved in the New York style with scrolls on a punch dot background with about 75% coverage. Two piece plain bone grips. CONDITION: Very good as totally refinished with pitting on right barrel hinge. Scrolls and lines in engraving have a wavy appearance from the buffing and polishing process. Grips are solid and fit well with no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. TON
