After the First World War Germany was trying to repair their economy and were selling guns abroad. A lot of them came to the United States in all kinds of configurations. This is a 8" 1920 Commercial Artillery. The barrel, receiver, and the front breech block all have a crown N commercial proof. The receiver, magazine, rear toggle link and the stock are all "GERMANY" export stamped. The parts that are numbered are all matching. CONDITION: Gun retains 95% of the original applied blue finish with the straw parts being 80%. Checkered grips are sharp and crisp with no chips or cracks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The stock iron is un-numbered. Comes with a fabulous floral carved H.H. Heiser holster. A very unusual Luger. REW
