Interesting brass frame revolver with inverted V front sight and hammer groove rear sight, but a pinched top of frame that could be used as a makeshift sighting plane. Hand ejector rod on right side in port integral to frame. Cylinder with ELG proof, brass frame with Crown over X. Maker marked under grips for Rocour Delsa & Cie, a Belgian maker between 1872 and 1875. There is some speculation that Rocour Delsa & Cie only made frames, and this piece may be a prototype or proof-of-concept piece, given that there is no rear sight and no other marks other than proofs and "350" on left side of forcing cone. CONDITION: Very good, brass has a pleasing dark mustard patina. Iron parts are very good with an even darkness throughout, and some silvering to the reciprocating areas, such as trigger. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is good with visible rifling on the left half of the barrel, but quite soft on other half. An interesting piece worthy of more research.
