Early fowling piece attributed to Bucks County area of Pennsylvania circa the late 1700s to early 1800s. Round tapered 48 - 3/8" smoothbore barrel with beveled unmarked flint lock with Bucks County style gunsmith made turned tail trigger. Intricate brass floral sideplate with 8 piercings. Bucks County style brass hardware including 2 piece engraved trigger guard with acorn shape tip and "Acorn" shaped tang on buttplate. Walnut plain fullstock with hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Metal has dark aged patina with old surface corrosion. Wood has been cleaned and waxed with chipping around lock. Tail pipe is a replacement. Dark bore with good mechanics. DLM
