Lot consists of (A) Winchester Model 12 Trap slide action shotgun. Made 1948. Left side of the frame is marked with the patent dates, followed by "WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK", followed by "MODEL 12" and the caliber. "MODEL-12-TRAP" marked on the bottom of the magazine tube, forward of the serial numbers. Matching serials on the frame and barrel assembly. Winchester proofs on the barrel and receiver. Round unrifled steel barrel with full vent rib and bead sights. Original blued finish on the metal components. Wide forearm with diamond checkering. Aftermarket straight grip wood buttstock with rubber butt pad marked, "WINCHESTER". Full choke bore, 2 - 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with some general wear and handling marks. Wood has some wear, dings, and scratches. There is a hairline crack on the right side of the forearm. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. (B) Savage Model 170 Series A slide action rifle. Made mid-1970s. Right side of the barrel is marked "PROOF TESTED CAL. 30-30. Savage proofs on the chamber area. Standard light game scene engraving on both sides of the receiver. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and flip up U-notch rear. Factory bluing on the metal components. Receiver has a scope mount installed, looks to be Weaver. Oil finished wood stocks with basket weave checkering on the wrist and forearm. Serrated plastic butt plate. Sling stud present on the rear buttstock. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some wear and handling marks. There is a scratch on the left side of the frame. Wood has handling marks, dents and scratches. Forearm is solid. Clean bore with crisp rifling. JWA
