Browning Model 71 lever action carbine with box. Made 1980s in Japan. Grade I. Left side of the barrel is marked "BROWNING MODEL 71 CALIBER 348 WIN". In front of the rear sight is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q./MADE IN JAPAN". Right side of the barrel is marked "BROWNING MODEL 71 CALIBER .348 WIN". "NP" proofs on the frame and barrel. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Plain oil finished wood stocks with a checkered metal butt plate. Includes serial matching box and manual, in addition to the original shipping box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent as well. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Looks to be unfired from the factory. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent as well. JWA
