Walther Model 8 semi automatic pocket pistol with capture papers. Made circa 1930. Right side of the slide is marked "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur.)". Right side of the slide is marked "Walthers Patent Mod. 8." over the Walther banner. Left grip has a Walther monogram insert, while the right insert is marked "6.35". Pre-War commercial proofs on the frame and slide. No import mark. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Metal has been very lightly refinished at some point. Factory checkered plastic grips. original magazine, marked "WALTHER" on the base plate. Includes capture papers dated "8 December 1945", and list the gun by serial number. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its reapplied finish. Grips have some wear to the checkering and monogram inserts. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. Magazine has general wear. Mechanically inoperable, as it appears to be having issues with its trigger reset. Capture papers has some wear and creases. JWA
