Imperial German 1918 Erfurt P.08 Luger with holster. Chamber marked "1918". Refurbished by Simson sometime in the 1930s. German proofs on the right side of the frame and barrel. Simson rework stamp on the barrel over "33". Toggle marked "ERFURT". No import mark found. Matching serials on the visible exterior components, minus the barrel not matching. Left grip panel is numbered, but does not match. Right grip is not numbered. Blade front sight with v-notch rear. Arsenal reapplied blued finish on the metal components. Checkered wood grips. Includes 1 aluminum bottom magazine matching to the gun. Also included is an additional wood bottom magazine (numbered, but not matching to the gun), takedown tool, and 1929 dated brown leather holster. Holster is marked "ROBERT LARSEN/BERLIN" on the back. It is also marked "L.Ka.80.", indicating it was most likely used by a police force. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its arsenal reapplied blued finish with light wear, minor handling marks and scratches. 90% of the rust blued finish remains as well. Grips are excellent. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines are very good with light finish wear. Takedown tool has some wear. Holster has some wear and crazing. The stitching on the front strap is deteriorating. JWA
