Lot consists of (A) Mossberg Brownie 4 barrel pocket pistol. Made 1920s. Left side of the bore is marked "O.F. MOSSBERG & SONS/NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A.", while the left side of the frame is marked "BROWNIE". Blade front sight with U-notch cut out rear. Original bluing on the metal components. Period pearl grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear. Grips have some discoloration, with some chips around the edges. Bores have some light frosting, with some pitting as well. Mechanically fine. (B) Belgian F.D. Co. semi automatic pistol. Made early 1910s, as a copy of the Browning 1905/6. Left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE D'ARMES FDELU&CO LEIGE-BELGIQUE". Belgian proofs on the left side of the barrel, slide and frame. Small caliber marking "6.35" on the bottom of the left side of the frame. Both grip panels are marked "F.D" inside a circle. U-notch grooved slide, acting as a rear sight. Metal has been refinished. Wood grips with checkering. Unmarked magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its reapplied finish with light wear. Grips have light wear. Bore is frosted with very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has general wear. JWA
