Lot consists of (A) FN Model 1906 semi automatic pistol. Made pre-War, circa 1913. Left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONAL D'ARMES de GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPSOE". There is an Austrian proof mark over "4506.29" on the left side of the slide as well. Belgian proofs on the frame, slide, and barrel. No import mark. U-notch cut out on the top of the slide acting as sights. Metal has been very lightly refinished at some point. Checkered hard rubber grips with "FN" monograms. Magazine is marked "FN" in a circle and has been lightly refinished. CONDTION: Metal retains 90% or more of its original finish with light handling marks and wear. Grips have some wear, with a few chips around the edges. Bore is heavily frosted with very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. (B) Pieper New Model semi automatic pocket pistol. Made in Belgium most likely post war. Left side of the frame is marked "ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER HERSTAL-BELGIUM-". Belgium proofs on the barrel, frame and slide. "6.35" stamped on the left side of the frame. "MADE IN BELGIUM" marked on the right side of the slide. Matching assembly numbers on the frame, slide and magazine. Matching serials on the frame and slide. U-notch cut out on the top of the slide serving as a sight. Light reapplied blued finish on the metal components. Serrated grips with monograms. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with some handling marks and wear. Grips have a few handling marks and scratches. Clean bore with very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
