Lot consists of (A) Austrian OWA semi automatic pocket pistol. Made circa 1922. Left side of the slide is marked "CAL.6.35 ARSENAL, VIENNA AUSTRIA", and "PATENT ANGEMELDET". Austrian proof marks on the left side of the slide over "22". Blade front sight with V-notch rear. Metal has been lightly refinished at some point. Hard rubber checkered grips marked "OWA" at the top of each panel. Magazine is not marked. Includes unmarked leather holster. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are solid with light wear. Bore is frosted with very good overall rifling. Mechanically inoperable as the trigger does not seem to reset. Magazine is fair with pitting and wear. Holster has wear. (B) Piper Model 1920 semi automatic pistol. Made circa 1920's in Belgium. Markings have been scrubbed. Belgian proofs on the slide, frame and barrel. No import mark found. Blade front sight and v-notch rear. Non factory nickel finish on the metal components. Checkered hard rubber grips with the Pieper monogram. No magazine is present. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied finish with handling marks and scratches, with some edge wear as well. Grips are solid with light wear. Frosted bore with very good overall rifling. Mechanically inoperable as the trigger seems to not reset. JWA
