Lot consist of: (A) Plainfield Model 71 semi automatic pistol with box. Made early 1970s. Left side of the slide is marked "PLAINFIELD MODEL 71". Right side of the slide is marked "PLAINFIELD ORDANCE CO./MIDLLESEX-NEW JERSEY MADE IN U.S.A.". Large half moon front sight with U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Wood grips with sharp checkering on the side panels and serrations on the back. Includes a blued steel magazine and original numbered box with papers. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with very good rifling. Mechanically excellent. Magazine is excellent. Box is excellent. (B) Baby Browning semi automatic pistol with box. Made circa mid 1950s. Left side of the slide is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY-ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI/MADE IN BELGIUM". Belgian proofs on the barrel slide and frame. Matching serials on the frame, slide and barrel. Small blade front sight with V-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. "BROWNING" marked checkered plastic grips. Blued steel magazine with an "FNH" on the base plate. Includes original red velvet lined box and manual. Also included is the original outer box. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Magazine is excellent, as is the box and outer box. JWA
